I baked challahs two weeks ago, and put the extras in freezer.

I want to take out two for this week. What's the best way to warm them up so they taste super fresh and crispy?

I usually take it out, let it defrost a little, wrap it up in foil and stick it in the oven for 15 min or so

Why foil? Does it get crispy like that?

At what temp?

Also, should I do it now, or wait till closer to zeman?

Do I defrost it now?

Take out of freezer now and later on when it's close to shabbos you can rewarm it so it will be warm for shabbos.
