I just defrosted a so-so tasting challah (I know because I have eaten from this batch before). I want to put something on top before I bake it to make it taste better. like the sugar/cinnamon/margarine combo... I don't know exact amounts for that, and I am not convinced that it must be sweet, so give me ideas ladies! what fun stuff can I put on my challah?
thanks! gmar tov to all!

you can just egg it and add a mix of sugar and cinnamon - no specific amounts, depends on your taste. or you can put olive oil and zaatar, or rosemary. or rub some garlic on top.

make a sugar out the following ratios - 1 margarine to 2 flour to 3 sugar and a touch of cinnamon.
(so for a small amount you'd use 1 T. margarine, 2 T. flour and 3 T. sugar or 1/2 cup margarine, 1 cup flour, 1.5 c sugar if you want a lot since it freezes well)
