Amoxicillin reaction?

My 13 month old is having a strept throat and is currently up to the 3rd day of amoxicillin. Since her first dose she has been showing signs of hyperactivity. The past two nights, she woke up every 2 hours and was up and about for a few hours as well giving her a total of like 5 hours sleep per night. She is perfectly fine and rested in the morning!!
Could this be a reaction to the amoxicillin, or maybe the combination of tylonel and amoxicillin. I'm also giving her cultural along with the medication. It's her first time on this medication and I'm going to the doctor later for a recheck. Until then, I was wondering if anyone had the same thing.

My daughter recently also woke up a few times during the night while being on the same meds for the same reason. BUT, my daughter was in pain. Her throat hurt. She didn't seem too hyper to me. Kudos to you for giving her probiotics!

haha!!! my 4 1/2 month old who is on amixicillin is doing the same thing. he is waking more often and sleeping less and harder to settle down to sleep.I've heard this can happen with amoxicillin.
