I work full-time and have a hour lunch break. Since I live too far from home, going home is not an option. I usually stay here and read the news online (and imamother of course!). I usually at at my desk. Sometimes I'll run out to the library or nearby grocery store. I'm curious to hear what other moms do. Thanks!

I don't have an official "lunch break" but I often sit at the computer, read the news and do imamother as well. My married dd doesn't have lunch at work but works through so that she can get home to grandson earlier. Middle daughter makes it her business to go out of the office during lunch to get some air and exercise if the weather is decent. Youngest daughter is the only one who works at a place with a real lunch break and she and all the other workers go to the cafeteria and eat lunch for half an hour.

I usually try to go out. Otherwise working 8 hours straight just gets to me 
Sometimes I go home, or run errands...Sometimes I go out with my workmates...
Othertimes we stay in, and eat lunch together in the conference room.

I got to the gym - I joined one nearby for this purpose.
I do errands - Whole Foods, Lot Less, Ralph's (local/nearby bargain stores) & Mr Closeouts. I go to other stores that are nearby - Dress Barn, Daffy's, Century 21, sometimes Syms.
I used to go to shiurim. I occasionally have my nails done.
Go to library/book store, J and R.
I also walk to the Seaport for fun.
If any Imamothers want to meet up, I'd love that !!!!

I have the same quest. How much shopping can I do? I usually bring along my own lunch so I browse the net or I just sit back & relax.

Pick up or return books to the library.
Go to the bank.
Buy the weekly specials at Rite Aid or Staples if any are left, which they are usually not.
Walk for exercise.
Go to the post office.
Check personal email.
Eat lunch.
Choose any ONE of the above.
