What's that supposed to mean? Not everybody calls it by its english name. Besides, in proper english it would be almond bread anyway.

what is with the broit pple? whats wrong with bread?
broit has this chasidish ring to it that irks me.
A biscotti is the fat hard "cookie" or however youd like to put it.
a mandelbread is skinny slice thats soft

I dont know I guess its psychological, but pple I hear saying broit are generally chasidish or know yiddish and are very frum.

I say mandelbroit cause that's what my grandmother called it and that's what my parents call it. We live in Israel now, and speak with a Sfardic intonation but mandelbroit is called what it's always been called. Mandelbread to me would be how assimilated Jews say it
