During the week, I cook the night before something that can be reheated for supper the following day. You can do this for soup, casserole, rice etc and you can actually double the potion and freeze. So the only thing you need to do when you come home is prepare a simple green salad. (Some salad like grilled pepper salad, cabbage salad, carrot salad can be made the night before) Grilled fish, stir-fry or pasta are also simple and can be done quickly.

When I worked full days the crock pot was a life saver. I would throw in all the ingredients in the morning before leaving. I loved having a hot meal waiting when I came home, and it's nice to come home to the smell of something cooking. I feel taken care of, even if I'm the one taking care of myself.
I found almost all my recipes through google.
