Is there a particular kind/brand of suntan lotion that will not likely aggravate my son's eczema.
Right now he has terrible eczema and hives all over and it seems that the slightest bit of anything on his skin makes him uncomfortable.

And YES, we have an appointment with an allergist and I'm not seeking medical advice here, this is just a general question as in "What did you use?"

(I was once yelled at on this site when I asked a question regarding a milk allergy and ppl. thought I was asking for medical advice here...)

My oldest also has eczeme, was very bad the first 2 years of his birth... and is B"H getting a bit better.
I found a company online that I have been using on all my children that has suntan lotions as well as bubblebath (until I found this it was impossible to give him a bubble bath!) and they have lotions, etc. The company is called California baby and they are online, and if you live in the U.S. 9i live in Canada0 they sell their stuff at target also. The website is californiababy.com. Good luck!

Thanks, I think its too late for me to buy it online to get it before our trip, but I can definitely do a trip to target.

my son has eczema and got skin rashes from many suntan lotions - the one that worked for him was called "blue lizard" - I bought it on line.

My son breaks out from almost everything as well. With some trial and error I have found the aveeno sunblock to work well for him.

When his skin is really bad and we need to use sun protection I have found the Eucerin face cream to be extra gentle, but it is pretty $$$.
