Does anyone know whether the following are reliable?

1. KVH -- small k on top of interlocking big V and H
2. KSA -- I know the plain KSA in a box is not reliable. Is there any version of KSA that is?
3. United States with a K in the center
4. United States with KOA in the center

Thank you!

It is very hard to answer that question as everyone's standards are different. There are many people who choose to use only "heimishe hechsheirim" and then those who don't bat an eyelash at national hechsherim and may actually have done the research that proves that on some items they are even more reliable.
But when I say national, I mean ou, ok, star k and chaf k on products. The other hechsherim you mentioned are local to a specific vaad (I think KvH is boston) and there can't be a blanket answer that they are all good or not.
Hope this is helpful (I know its not really)

Call up a hechsher that you trust like the crc, star k etc and ask them. That's what I do and they give me an answer every time. The ou won't give their opinion on other hechsheirim.

KVH is the Vaad Hakashrus of New England. Reliable on level of OU, OK, etc (so judge that against your personal standard). The K on Kelloggs cereals is the KVH, by the way.

crc in Chicago (as apposed to the Brooklyn one) is very good at answering these questions. If you call their office they will tell you whether or not a hechsher is reliable. They might have some info on their website as well.
