I'm so sad. I just found out that my husband's close friend's wife (of 2 months) lost her mother suddenly R"L. We met once, about 2 weeks prior, she's a real sweetie. Should I write a card? Keep it short, just to let her know I'm thinking of her? Wait till after Shiva?
