@seer: not to overwhelm you even more, but when you're child is allergic to milk, eggs and soy, losing tuna and lentils as a source of protein is kind of important. Although, since she's only 7 months old, you won't have to work your way around that for a few more months.

That being said: when DD was diagnosed (at a year) I also went nuts looking for recipes and bought all this stuff at the health food store that was totally irrelevant for a child that age. Your baby should not need cookies or cake or other such things at this age, and shouldn't be eating that much solid food, so a little baked chicken and rice will take you a long way.

That being said, this is my list of sites and resources:

Allergy Sense: http://www.allergysense.com/blog/ (there's a blog and an 'allergy friendly directory' as well as a 'Basics' page).

Food Allergy Assistant: http://foodallergyassistant.blogspot.com/ (again, a blog with information. She updates with studies and news fairly frequently).

Food Allergy Mama: http://www.foodallergymama.com/ (fabulous blog and fabulous recipes. I have her cookbook, which, though geared to avoid milk, egg and nut allergies, should work you, too. I haven't used it often because DD is too little for the potchke most of the time, but I would certainly use it in the future if she did not outgrow her allergies.)

Lexie's Kitchen: http://www.lexieskitchen.com/ (allergy friendly recipes which concentrate on gluten and casein -- the part of milk that people are allergic to -- recipes. Though otherwise also allergy friendly).

The Sensitive Pantry: http://www.thesensitivepantry.com/ (recipes and stuff)

The Allergic Kid: http://allergickid.blogspot.com/ (more of a blog than recipes, but it's interesting to read the perspectives of other allergy moms)

Many of these blogs have navigation bars with links to other allergy friendly sites. You should definitely click and click and click again (and let me know if you find any other great sites!

KFA (Kids with Food Allergies) Guide to Passover: http://www.kidswithfoodallergi.....r.pdf (I don't remember there being anything particularly helpful for DDat this stage, but it does point out how many things can be an issue, even just at the Seder. If nothing else, it's interesting to read.)

Vegetarian Fat-free Passover Recipes -- http://euler.ecs.umass.edu/pass-veg/ (I don't even remember bookmarking this. However, you should note that the first recipe includes 'eggbeaters' as an egg substitute. Egg Beaters are NOT an egg substitute; they are egg whites and should be avoided).

Smart School Time Recipes: http://www.onefrugalfoodie.com.....s.pdf (this 'e-book' was put together by a bunch of bloggers. Again, DD is too little to potchke with all of this for, but it's a good source, if necessary, for the future. Also, in the first few pages, are links to a whole bunch of blogs. Check them out).

Oliver's Labels: http://www.oliverslabels.com/D.....ID=38 (if she does not grow out of her allergies by the time she's going to school, you may want these).

Luna and Larry's: http://coconutbliss.com/ (coconut based ice-cream. I don't remember if they contain soy, but they probably don't. I think they have ingredient lists for all the ice creams on the site somewhere).

FAAN: http://www.foodallergy.org/section/coupons (THE site for families living with Food Allergies, though I don't use it as often as I should. This links you directly to their coupon page, but you should check out the whole site).

Divvies Bakery On-line: http://www.divvies.com/ (I have their cookbook, though, like the one from Kelly Rudnicki, DD isn't worth the patchke at this age. They have a hechsher, if you want to buy the stuff instead of make it, but comparatively, it is expensive to making it yourself).

Enjoy Life: http://www.enjoylifefoods.com/ (this company makes a variety of products that are all free of the top eight allergen, which makes it really easy to know that they don't have milk, eggs or soy in them).

Cherrybrook Kitchen: http://www.cherrybrookkitchen.com/ (FABULOUS company. I discovered them in Chicago when I was there for Succos. They have cake mixes and cookie mixes and a pancake mix -- without soy! - and stuff. Everyone was eating DD's cookies).

Let me know if I can search other stuff up for you!

I also had eczema as a kid and was also allergic to those foods. The good news is that they don't always last; they outgrow it eventually. The eczema didn't last by me; it was only replaced by heavy "allergies".

Hi

I can remember how you feel - my DS was diagnosed as allergic to milk eggs & soya at 4 months - but now TG is a strapping 11 year old with no allergies! - so hang in there

the hardest thing was understanding that eggs and soya are in everything - lecithin is either made from eggs or soya. We used to buy some stuff at pesach and keep for year round, as then we were sure it was soya free. I spent hours of my life reading every label at the supermarket - nowadays things are better labelled so its easier. For baking - substitute bananas for eggs. I agree that protein is an issue - we went to a dietician, partly because I was still feeding, and had to cut out everything he was allergic to so I was concerned about the quality of my milk - anyhow she was useless - but if you can find someone good to give guidelines..
and yes my son lived on chicken soup, chicken and rice until he was four.
Have you tried goats milk? some milk allergy kids cant tolerate it either but we were lucky - not that he drank much, but I could use it to mix
hope the eczema gets better...

Yes, my son was also diagnosed as allergic to eggs, milk, soy and wheat while I was still exclusively nursing.
It takes adjusting, and for a while I was really not using any store bought foods at all - everything was homemade from scratch. Soy is in almost every single thing in some form or another Sad The good news is that while he is now 3 and still completely allergic to eggs and milk in all forms, he can have soy and wheat with no problems (the soy allergy became Oral Allergy Syndrome first, then disappeared completely), which makes life a lot easier.
To replace eggs, Orgran makes an egg replacer powder which you mix with water and works great in baking. Also, Ener-G does a pancake mix, pizza base/muffin mix and a free from everything bread (which tastes horrible, slightly better if toasted, but my son hated it, so never bought a second loaf).
Really simple home cooking - chicken, meat, potatoes, rice, vegetables. Once slightly older, chickpeas are a good protein, chummous if you can, make your own falafel patties (I adapted DefyGravity's from on here). Also beans - I throw a can into a vegetable soup and then blend, so it becomes a source of protein as well.
Good Luck
