Do you use a steam cover for your steam or leave it without? If you have one are you happy?

I grew up in a house with covered radiators in all the rooms. They were reasonably decorative and very handy, providing another shelf at just the right height as well as protection from bumping into a hot steam radiator. I'm not sure why you wouldn't have covers; I thought they were standard.

Came with the house. I am happy as I feel it is safer than exposed radiators which are hotter and in which kids can get caught in posing a hazard. They can be pricey so happy they were included.
