thank you. I'm not sure why, but I'm much encouraged by the other 150-200. I just gained 7 pounds this mth and I'm very sad about it. I just signed up for a gym and started to go. I'm also keeping a food diary (somedays).

It's not really fair because 150 for a 5'8" person (they will look thin) is different than 150 for a 5'3" person (they will look heavier)

I hate the scale. As long as your clothes fit why venture onto the scale?

I was 150 lbs (it was so annoying to look for a convertor! LOL ) when I met dh. 160 when we got married because of our bad habit to go to the restaurant at least twice a week (and to take 3 desserts). embarrassed LOL
When I became pregnant I was so nauseous that I went back to 150 and under. Dh also lost weight because he was too worried to eat. Sad
I was back at 160 in the 5th month and now I'm, errrr.... yeah, ok, 172.

I'm planning to go back to at least 160 when I have the baby, but 150 would be a dream! 5'10'' here by the way.

I fit into the second description too but more extreme. I am five feet and I weight 165. I know I have to loose the weight, but it has been a struggle my entire life with weight.

Actually BMI is figured using your weight AND height. Numbers don't mean anything without considering a person's height, build, AND physique. Someone who weight trains on a regular basis will bulk up, so they will weigh more because of the muscle mass.
