Sometimes I think it would be interesting if you guys would realize the anonymous posts are actually posters that when non anonymous you get along with - but when issues become heated you just jump down each others throats.

The moderators are always saying that behind each poster is a living, thinking, breathing person with feelings, and to respect that.

I think that because we have the option to be anonymous, people tend to take advantage of it and feel like they can get away with saying whatever they want.

OK, I'm guilty of posting anonymous. Nearly all of my posts are anonymous, BUT ----
I NEVER EVER jump down anyone's throat,
NEVER EVER bash anyone for having their values, beliefs, opinions, lifestyle
NEVER EVER put down anyone
NEVER EVER say anything that could potentially hurt anyone.
I treat anonymous posters as I myself want to be treated, and I am high maintenance  So you all get the same white-glove treatment that I myself ask for....
I just like to post anonymous cuz there are potentially lots of people on this site who know me irl and all it takes is a click of a button to view all my posts and find out lots of stuff about me that I'd rather they not know...
