Do u ever use spelt? If so you can substitute it for any recipe. Just add a little more to each cup. It's great

I make whole wheat muffins for my kids and they love it. its especially good when they just come out of the oven. I think I got the recipe from mishpacha magazine. do you want it?

I subbed the white flour for white whole wheat and the whole wheat for spelt. They were awesome I think I need to make more tonight.

Is that the one that was on the same page as a salsa recipe? If yes, did you find that it was extremely crumbly? My kids loved it too, but it made a holy wreck. Any ideas how to make them more firm?

it might be the one. this is the recipe for whole wheat muffins:
1 cup whole wheat
1 cup oatmeal
1/2 cup applesauce
1/2 cup oil
1/2 cup honey
1 egg
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp vanilla
oven at 350 bake for 18-2o min

I just make my kids eat it at the table. its tastes pretty good for whole wheat and its pretty healthy so I dont mind that its a little crumbly.
