I have someone coming in from the States soon & I want to ask her to bring me some stuff that I need, but I am drawing a blank! Can you list 3 things that you would ask someone to bring in for you, just to help me jog my memory? Thanks (I know kids clothes is a main thing, but we seem to be ok for this season & I don't want to ask for things they'll wear in a year iykwim).

Shows where my mind is - I thought this was a salary thread about what you bring in per month.

Deoderant, Ziploc, Qtips, Makeup

The biggest thing would be to order clothing, shoes, etc. online to their address and have them bring it for me.

(you know you can always spray with regular pam and sprinkle with flour? (I know its not the same exact thing..) Though I always found the trick to bundt pans is making sure the cake is really cooled off before trying to take it out. (I usually stick them in the fridge overnight). Everything comes out fairly easily that way..

Almost everything listed above can be bought here. That's not the issue. The issue is that in America it's $1.99 and here it's 89 shekel.

I've tried that. still doesn't come out as cleanly as the baking spray. btw I don't drive pple crazy over bringing me baking spray. it's just on my list of little american luxuries that I like and miss

Makeup, vitamins, OTC medicines. You can buy a huge bottle of Tylenol at Costco and a huge bottle of Tums for a few bucks... here they charge a fortune for a tiny bottle of tylenol and a tiny bottle of tums.

Baker's Joy. I used to love Pam and Baker's Joy as well. Until I was buying my All Clad pots and the lady at Bloomies told me NOT to use Pam on the pots as it gets gunky. Well, I then researched what it does to our bodies...
So, FTR, oil and flour work just as well as Baker's Joy ever did and don't leave gunk behind. Just saying, in case you are health conscious. If not, ignore this.

Isn't PAM just canola oil in a spray can?
