I like to, but I don't neccessarily get to it every year. I make sure to get if I'm pregnant. With a winter baby this winter, I made sure all members of the family got one..

I was offered the shot after my daughter was born about a year ago so I got it but I think it's only effective for one year and I haven't gotten around to it yet although I really should considering how many cases were reported this year

No. If I get the flu, I will have a forced vacation. I don't mind.

I just got the flu shot a week ago when the flu reached epidemic levels. but it takes 2 weeks till you get immunity and even then is not completely effective. My machateiniste has the flu now -- she came down with it about 10 days after receiving the vaccine.

I'm hopeful that my receiving the vaccine will help protect my wonderful baby granddaughter. I take care of her a lot, and she has not been vaccinated because of recurrent ear infections.

I have to get it because I work in healthcare, but this year I was unemployed and pregnant, and got it. I don't force my kids, though.
