I would like to know from someone who has recently got their professional certification how you go about documenting your work experience. does the school have to write a letter? do you just type in the employment on the teachny website? how do they confirm that all the info you write there is accurate? also- if you work part time how many hours do you need for it to be considered three years full time experience?
thanks!

You type in your employment on the Teach website but you also have to send in a letter from your school stating from when you worked for them, how long, full time/ part time...
I think I remember hearing that part time needs 5 years.
Hope that helps

If you work part time, it gets prorated depending how many hours or something. You should use the contact form on the TEACH website to ask for help and get individual advice for your situation. I was told to procure a letter from each school. Been having a hard time getting in touch with one from years back
