I have a sister who desperately needs a therapist or mentor. She lives in Ramat Beit Shemesh, but does not have money for a therapist. Are there any organizations or somebody you can refer? Thanks!

What kind of therapist might she need? In what area of expertise? Trauma, marriage, depression? What are her issues?

Do you know if Lmaan Achai subsidizes therapy with all therapists or just their specific ones?

I don't know. Your sister would need to call them for the details.

I just saw this ad in a local magazine:

Quote:
Are you coping with mental illness in your family?
The Family Counseling Center of Ezrat Achim and Enosh can help you and your family.

We provide professional, subsidized therapy for families coping wit mental illness. Our staff specializes both in mental illness and family therapy. ...

Individual, couples and family therapy; support groups for parents, siblings and spouses. House calls.

FMI call Enosh, Israeli Mental Health Association

OP and amother, I don't know if this is relevant to your situations but I'm putting it here in case, and for if and when someone does a search and finds this thread.

Beryl Tritel works in rbs. She definitely works with self esteem issues I don't have experience to know if she works with intimacy issues. She has a very reasonable sliding scale and feels money should not keep one out of therapy. I highly recommend her.
Her contact info is: beryltritel@gmail.com or 054-842-7736.
Hatzlacha rabba.
