So I have to go get a new license picture and I'm not in the mood cause I feel grouchy and ugly. The pictures come out bad enough if you look and feel good. What to do ... who else has been there ... Twisted Evil

I really don't think it matters how you feel or what you wear. Those cameras are designed to make you look bad. I don't think I ever had a good DL picture.

Just bring a purim hat with you to wear while you pose for the photos.
(very important: keep a straight face as if there is nothing strange with what you're doing)

You'll be guarranteed to get a great shot!

Ooops no hats or glasses are allowed. Please, they are required to shoot again and again and yet again until you’re somewhat satisfied. Take along a lunch and make a day of it!

In my state (Illinois) hats are allowed! Thanks to one of our good friends, a lawyer, who took up the cause on behalf of a frum woman who only wore hats and doesn't wear sheitles. Smile

Anyhow, hat or no hat - ID pictures are usually horrifying! shock

Therefore, try to make the worst picture you can - it could be fun!

here they take the picture, show it to you and if u dont like it they will take up to 3 more-and then u can choose the best one.
and they give me no arguement about my hat once I say that I wear it for religious purposes. (and I rarely wear my shaitel, so y put it on for the picture?)
