just curious ... who shave their legs, underarms, and other body parts during sefira ... or do you just let it all hang? why doesn't saving apply to women ...

I think because its not a sign of mourning for women not to shave. We don't cut our hair though.

Hey, there are some women who don't shave all year notjust during sefirah. I never cared for the braided hair under your arm look myself.

In the 9 days sefer by Rav Eider it says that woman who are married or of marriageable age are allowed to shave their legs during the 9 days. If so, then I would assume that sefirah would definitely be allowed also.

I learned in school that womens shaving is completly different from men shaving and is allowed on sfira, even if she shaves facial hair.

Many people mix up & get confused between Sefira and the 9 days!
Every married woman is allowed to shave during sefira!according to halacha!

As withhumor says, you may cut (and I presume shave!) your head hair to stop it showing. If you do not cover your hair then I don't know.

I’m collecting money for a fund, this will go for purple’s laser treatment. Purple, I bumped into my friend who used to shave twice a day (pcos) and she looks like the se**iest lady today, lost some weight, got 2 new sheitels, and laser on her face!
I want it I want it want it to happen for you, and you deserve it, but you don’t deserve the bills! About $150 for 15 minutes, figure about $2,000 to get it done once and for all. What do you say? This is not a ‘nebach case collection’ this is a dream come true for anyone!
There is currently $13.65 in there, my own donation
