I accidentally left a batch of hard boiled eggs out all night. They were sitting in cold water that whole time though, so maybe there's a chance it's OK? Or do I have to throw them out?

I have a friend that said she always leaves her hard boiled eggs out overnight. Learned it from her grandmother. They would eat them for breakfast. Never a problem for them. So I guess they should be ok. Though I have never done it myself.
