I would like to start a project with my children on the subject of gratitude. It bugs me to see them being ungrateful and I'd love to change the tone, teach them about gratitude, and engender feelings of appreciation between them, particularly DC's aged 9 and 11.

For starters I'd like to encourage them to name two things every day for which they are grateful - it must be something which was done by either a parent of sibling.

Can anyone help me with more ideas?
