Does anyone know how reviews work on airbnb?
If a guest doesn't review a host, does that mean that the host's review of the guest will not be published?

I don't know the answer to your question but I wanted to make everyone aware that you need to be very careful when using airbnb. I would be very careful in general about only choosing a host with a lot of reviews. I was just scammed (thankfully before I sent any money) with a host who had just joined that month and had no reviews. He asked for a cleaning deposit to be sent by western union, which is against Airbnb rules, and when I investigated further, the house he was trying to rent was not actually his. It was a house for sale online and he just stole the photos (I verified with the broker that he was not the owner and the house was not a vacation rental!)
I reported it to Airbnb and they removed his profile.
