I believe they’re similar trips.
Can anyone recommend which trip is rather for kids ages 4-14?
What attractions are in either one?

Define similar? They have totally different attractions.

They're not similar at all. Jiminy peak is geared for older kids-adults. Not much to do there for the little ones. Lake George there's things to do for all ages.

Right down the road from Jiminy Peak there's an adorable farm with lots to do. Jiminy peak is perfect even for the four year old. The child can go with an adult on all the attracrions. There's also boat rentals nearby.

Lake George has lots of water sports, the great escape, a smaller amusement park, a water park, Mini Golf, boat rides, and also a strip with arcades, souvenir shops and stuff. Also outlet shopping.
Jp is ropes courses, mountain coaster sort of things.
