There's an orthodontist in the 5 Towns named Dr. Sicklick. Also an allergist by the same name, maybe father and son?

There was an Ob/Gyn who practiced in Monmouth County named Dr. Payne. My aunt used him and the name just stuck in my brain - also because this was a time when children weren't allowed to visit their mother and women actually stayed in the hospital a few days even for an uncomplicated vag*inal delivery.

My cousins and I were taken outside so my aunt could wave to us from her hospital room window.

My mom had a dentist Dr Payne. Yikes!

My husband refers to our babys doctor as Dr. Starbucks (name is Scharback)
and another dr. as Dr. Pencil (name is Blei- which is yiddish for pencil)
He gives everyone a nickname...
so dr. Pusic was "di pusic zugt"...

night nurse named Kristal- he said "oh, today will be a kristallnacht"

There was a NICU nurse with the last name of Sexton. I'm glad its not my name...
