Make sure you get a good one with safety features, but also make sure the wiring of the circuit you plug it into can handle the load (probably only an issue if you live in an older house).

It’s not dangerous if you don’t put it too close to the bed or furniture and make sure no clothes are touching it either.

Keep in mind, never plug it into An extension cord. The device must be plugged directly into the wall socket.
