I am going to start homeschooling my kindergarten ( pre-k ) daughter now, until the end of year and possibly next year too. Does anyone know where I can turn to for resources, and to connect with other people in similar situations? I am in the five towns/ ny area.

How old is she?
Chinuch.org is a great resource for parsha, yamim tovim etc.
Try teacherspayteachers.com for math and reading.

Fun fun!

If you're on Facebook, connect to the Hip Homeschool Moms group. It's not Jewish, but very good for advice, and very positive.

Be in touch with wherever you intend to send her to school eventually to find out what she should know by 1st grade or whenever. They may offer to send you more detailed information about what's covered each year.

Reposting some resources I shared earlier:

Unfortunately there is very little in the sense of a single comprehensive curriculum, you really need to DIY although the resources are out there.

http://jewishhomeschool.wixsit.....-resources - great place to start.

Useful blogs:
http://jewishhomeschool.blogspot.com
http://chinuchathome.info
http://avivahwerner.com/catego.....ling/

Tons of materials:
http://Chinuch.org
https://www.waldereducation.org

Torah4children as mentioned has wonderful workbooks, as does Rietti and others linked in the JewishHomeschool wix site site linked above.

I have a curriculum goal list by grade level, but it will probably be more practical to try to follow the grade level in the school you plan to send her to eventually.
