You should fix the title! Lol, I had a good laugh. Thought you took your child to a speech therapist and said therapist stuttered!
How about writing that you're looking for a therapist trained in remediation of stuttering?

I was already thinking how to answer diplomatically about how it’s so nice that she went into a field that she obviously feels personally connected to, but maybe it would be better for your child if you switched therapists... I’m sorry I can’t help with your actual question.
