I'm not very into calorie counting.
I dont like lowfat foods but I'm trying to eat less of regular foods.

In order for me to eat less it has to be kept very simple so here's what I eat on a regular day;

1 packet instant oats
2 oz whole milk
4-5 oz J&J whipped cottage cheese
Cortland apple

8 cashews
Grapefruit

1 Chicken bottom (or a variation of)
Cooked vegetables or a salad without oil
Cortland apple

Not enough food. Too bland. Unless you only like bland things. What's for lunch?

Why are you drinking whole milk and not skim milk?
Your breakfast and dinner are good balanced wise but 8 cashews and a grapefruit is not enough for mid day meal.

Because I don't like the taste.
I know about my lunch but I'm moving around very little and lunch is a huge burden when I'm dieting so I figured I'll skip that.

The yogurt is a good idea. Ty!
I never tasted string cheese. I don't even know how it looks. I'll check it out in the grocery next time.

If I'll eat 15 shibolim I eat 50. Smile
Anything wheat or sweet is a trigger food for me.

Obsessing about calories isn't really going to get you anywhere. So isn't starving yourself. Or beating yourself up about your current weight and your lack of getting to your ideal weight. Focus on yourself as a wonderful person, who would like to feel healthy and well...

Sorry I'm going on a rant. I'll stop right there. If you want to know more about what I believe, just say so. Having you tried reading the book Intuitive Eating?

I'm 5.2 I'm 185 pds.

I gained 10 pounds in the last few months because I wasn't mindful. I thought I was watching myself but the scale tells me something else.

I don't think I have any disorder. I'm trying to make it simple and easy.
I'm trying to do what works for me.

Today I thought maybe this is too little food so I posted.

Yes. I read it.
Where did you see I'm beating myself up?

Ok I don't really have what it takes to defend myself here.

I appreciate the responses so far.
I now know everything I need to know.

Thanks.

15 crackers isn’t going to lead to 50

And you don’t want to slow down your metabolism. Please eat lunch-
Hardboiled egg, toast, something!!
