I was just listening to Eli Schwebel's Lev Tahor song called Don't Stop Giving.
Great song- but stuck on the following words
Don't stop giving the loooooove
Let your _____________?

I keep hearing "Let your fiber ripe"- anyone know the real words?

Remember when Shwekey's "I am a Miracle" was the latest hit?
My son used to sing it: "I am AMERICA!"

Can you help me find my missing words?

And what song did you always sing wrong? Or funny ways your kids would sing songs?

Anon cuz everyone knew my son singing that he was America.

Fergie has a song when I was in HS where she sang "im gonna miss you like a child misses his blanket" my friend thought she said like a child misses their paint can. I found that hilarious at the time !

I was trying to sing Matisyahu's Chop Em Down with DH and started the verse:

Yosef was ________
Sold as a slave
Thrown into the dungeon
Cuz he wouldn't - we couldn't remember this line.

I kept telling DH I think it's something like "cuz he wouldn't get laid".
But wasn't Matisyahu frum when he made this song? Idk, was it his type to put in a line like that? We were debating for a while.

Finally looked it up it's "cuz he wouldn't be swayed"

I mean...both rhyme. And both are true...soooo it could of been the first one.

There was a thread a while back where someone said that she heard the words of the Israeli chanukah song כד קטן של אור נתן as Yonatan and it was funny because I also thought the words "or natan" were Yonatan. I never understood why he specifically from all the Chashmonaim was singled out in the song and only realized the real words when one of my kids came home with the lyrics from gan.

I'm the worst with lyrics lol. But my favorite is that I used to think that in ACDC's "Dirty Deeds" the words "done dirt cheap" were "thunder sheep". And it turns out I'm not the only one, everyone on the internet has at some point totally misheard that line LOL
