Hard night with the kids

We’re all exhausted. No one listened to me tonight. Kids got water all over the place, 4 year old had an accident . 9 year old was being disrespectful. I lost it at my 9 yr old who also was egging on the younger ones to continue doing what I was asking them not to do. She said I always blame her. I explained to her that I was upset at everyone. I was upset that no one was listening- but I got too angry. It happens once in a while but my 9 yr old says I “make scary faces” I don’t mean to- I’m just so frustrated and exhausted myself. Always a bad feeling to have a bad night and to know that kids saw me loose it.

That was me last night. And my oldest is nine too, and she really does instigate a LOT. I was so disappointed with myself. But today was a good day. The kids did the same shtick, but I stayed calm. Wishing you the same!
