It struck me that there were a few orbituary of rather young persons with down-syndrome who succombed to Covid19.
Are they specially vulnerable?

They also have a higher rate of heart/lung problems than the general population, which would be a further risk factor.

I have a 14 year old with downs with repaired heart. We all had corona. She had no symptoms. She’s fine bh

Also, I imagine they don't get the best care in hospitals. Much like old people.

The obituaries of Downs Syndrome individuals that I saw were all adults living in group homes or other long term residential facilities.
So that's 1) Corona 2) impaired immune system 3) potential heart and lungs weakness 4) residential living
That's a lot of comorbidities.
A typical Downs Syndrome teenager living at home like a previous poster mentioned is probably not as high risk.
