Am I the only one out here who volunteered for the study to get the shot? Just got it 2 days ago. So curious to see if it will be effective.

Cool. Tizku l'mitzvos. Though personally I wouldn't rush to get it myself, but I appreciate your doing it!

I'm also really curious : did they check you for antibodies? How did they ensure you didn't have the virus yet to be able to determine its effectiveness? |
They test antibodies and do a Coronavirus test

Cool.
I'm curious how comfortable you feel about being exposed to Corona now.
Would you deliberately expose yourself?
Have you had any side affects at all yet?

It’s 2 shots 28 days apart. I wouldn’t deliberately expose myself since they don’t know accurate it is but it’s making me comfortable enough to go back to work in person even though I am high risk.
I have had a light fever and body aches , slightly swollen area of injection, but nothing terrible.
My guess is I didn’t get a placebo because then their wouldn’t be side effects if you are injected with saline.

You need to have not had it and be high risk in some way to be part of the study that I am doing.

It’s supposed to be a harmless substance such as saline is what it says on the papers

7 visits over the next 2 years and if you have any symptoms in between they come to you and test you for it.

What made you feel secure enough to sign up for passing on whatever genetic mutation that will occur to your offspring? |
1) I am more scared from Coronavirus. I am immunocompromised and have a child with health issues who it can be dangerous for.
2) I am not currently pregnant.
