How do your kids wake up so late. Don't they have to be up for school

My kid goes to sleep 9-9:30 and wakes up 8-8:15. Leaves the house 8:45, school starts at 9.

Ideally 8pm. She has a lot of older siblings so it's not so easy, as she hears everyone still up and about.
Rarely awake after 9 though.
On a school day she's up at 6:50am.
On shabbat or no-school day she wakes up naturally at 8am-ish

8:10 but this is interesting because I am noticing lately that she is pushing me to extend her bedtime to 8:30. Based on the posts here I realize I may have to.

Officially 8:30, but often she ends up going to bed around 9. That's for a school night. As the youngest Friday night and motzei shabbos don't really have bedtimes.

8:00 only because I need ds to also go into bed then. Otherwise I’d probably push it a bit.
