I am in my mid-30s and considering pursuing a second master's degree in biostatistics (my first was in speech therapy). Is this a good field? My ultimate interest would be to find a job leveraging statistics for analytical writing. Is there potential for a flexible schedule, for example if I want to work 4 days a week?

I think it is a good field, however, you may find it more difficult to get a job if you don't have a PhD.

I don't see any way a phD would fit into my life right now...
