OK, I'm joking.
But this is a PSA to remember that we're supposed to spend more on matanos la'evyonim than on MM or seudah.
For those who worry that the day is too frivolous, a sizable contribution can help.
There are a lot of people struggling this year. Let's all do whatever we can.

Our tzedaka theme is food. We give food so those that are busy get to eat a bit on Purim. We donate to the stomach organization.

Rambam is my man and always will be. Many years ago I decided independently that it made no sense to spend a fortune on luxury goodies for people who need them like a second nose, and then and there decided that henceforth I would spend the lion's share on Matanot leEvyonim. I was thrilled to discover that that was what Rambam said to do. The man was, after all, a rationalist.

Our tzedaka them is the Donors Fund!
On a more serious note, it really saved us on a recent audit. So worth it.

We have a local organization called Yad Chesed that makes sure funds get out on the same day. I'm grateful they make it so easy.
Zaq, I like the idea of Rambam theme!
