Denver police on Thursday announced the arrest of four young men after a crime spree on Tuesday in which one person was hurt and Shmuel Silverberg was killed. A fifth suspect remains at large.

The suspects were arrested on Wednesday night. They are all 21 or younger. They were identified as:

Seth James Larhode, 21, Isaiah James Freeman, 18, Aden Sides, 18, and Noah Loepp-Hall, 19, are all in custody facing multiple charges, including murder, burglary, aggravated robbery, aggravated motor vehicle theft, menacing and assault.

Police say this was not a bias crime.

Yes I know their names and ages. I'm wondering about motives, social media posts, past behavior. It's disturbing that some of them have Jewish sounding names! Who are these guys?

I don't think they are far enough into the investigation for any if this yet.

I hate how without a real investigation they immediately declare it’s not a hate crime. While all other minority stories are assumed hate crimes unless proven otherwise and even then they sometimes still claim hate crime. It’s so frustrating to see them immediately down play all Jewish murders.

None of them have Jewish sounding names. Freeman isn't a Jewish last name. It's a black last name. Many former slaves took names like that.

It's the last name of one of my best high school friends. As Jewish as you or I.

Heard the beginning.
Basic gist is that they caught 4 out of the 5 guys. One has escaped a facility. Seems like they knew each other from being in youth correctional facilities together. There was another business burglary they realized they committed that night as well. Nothing was particularly targeted, but randomly chosen by these criminals. They shot Shmuli outside but he managed to get inside and they tried following him, which caused the tabloid rumor by YWN that there's a conspiracy cover up and they meant to harm the Yeshiva. Feds are involved, contrary to that tabloid article but no evidence of a bias crime at all.
