I was reading the mishpacha on shabbos and there was a double take story about a girl with "invisible" special needs. So many parts of the story triggered me because her behaviors seemed very similar to things my ASD son would do.
When will our community step up and include these children? There is a young boy in my neighborhood with down syndrome and all the parents are so busy teaching their children to include him even if he hurts them and bothers them. Why can't we do the same for all our "invisible" special needs?
