Does anyone do it? Looks like I will be doing it for a six year old for this year. Would love to connect with others in the same situation.
TIA!

Many people do it, particularly if their child struggles in a mainstream classroom setting. There are tutoring centers like Tree of Knowledge that offer one-on-one and small group support, someone I know used them and paid for the tutoring and was very very happy. A lot of their students have IEPs and get the Jon Peterson scholarship. I think it can pay for tutoring and therapies like speech, but the JP is not available to kids who don’t have an IEP.

Don’t people move to Cleveland for the free tuition? It seems like a funny place to be homeschooling

There are a handful of people who are technically homeschooling but it is because their kiddos have significant needs and being in mainstream schools did work and they didn't want to send their child to a public school.
The above poster already explained about the JP scholarship and tutoring which most homeschoolers do.
