Naomi! I think it’s a beautiful name. Also it’s a biblical name.

Don't use Ahuva if you're British. It sounds like a vacuum cleaner (a hoover).

Lol. Would never think like that, but yeah, Ahuva is a pretty rare name in England.

I've read on a few different baby names threads that Ahuva is really popular in the US (or at least in Lakewood, from the sounds of it) and I find that interesting since here it really isn't.

I don't have anything against the name, it's just not widely used.

I love the name Adina and always wanted to use it, but I’m very into using biblical names and I don’t go for the name Dina. I honestly want to ask about using the name Adina one day. Aliza is also beautiful.

I feel like maybe I heard Adina was someone in Tanach's wife?

So interesting. Funny, I was thinking of someone in shevet Levi, but knew it couldn't be Amram, Aharon, or Moshe, so I played it safe and said "someone" LOL Little did I realize it was Levi himself.

Our Ahuva is Huvi, which is a drop less common and suits her fun-loving spunky personality.

Both names seem easy for the non-Jews to say. But for some reason the Israelis always want to make it Hubi.

Not sure if it matters to you (and I'm certainly not saying that it should!) but the source for the name is Midrash, not the biblical text itself, and not a very ancient or authoritative one, unlike say Bereishit Rabbah which is from the Talmudic period.
