How much does it cost to hire a professional organizer? (Rates and bins/equipment?)
If you hired one, what experience did you have and were you able to keep it up?

Worth every penny. They charge different rates. I upkept some, but learned things I did not know which helps too. But go for it, you will not regret it at all. Very well spent.

Mine was starting out and charged 50 an hourplus all the bins. It was close to $1000 when all was said and done for my playroom. I mostly kept it up

So if your playroom costed you $1000, my job will be close to $5000
I guess it's not happening now then...

OP, contact one of the organizing courses and ask them to recommend a talented graduate.

The rate will probably be around $50/hr. Ask for an estimate.

It was a lot of toys but yes when I heard 50 an hour, I didn’t expect it to be so much at the end

Instead of an hourly rate, ask for a FLAT fee. So you know exactly how much the job will cost.

I'd love a recommendation for someone inexpensive in Brooklyn. I really need someone to help me sort and get rid of my *clothes*. I'm good with organizing.

Rachel Katz is amazing and very reasonable. She is located in Brooklyn.

I was happy with her because she is very practical, had some brilliant tactics that made some of my "complicated" things easy to organize. Basically, her work is maintainable which is why I like her.
