My husband and I both dont like gifts that occupy space in the house, bh we have everything we need and no space..........

and a gift card can get lost over time.

So a nice card with a bottle of nice wine + home made cake or muffins, and we are happy.

A good book or two. I usually get him non-fiction, in English.
Or a subscription to something like Scientific American, or something I would want to read too, like a daily newspaper delivered, or the Sunday papers delivered, or subscriptions to The Atlantic or New Yorker.

This counts as a gift:
The next time you are alone in an elevator with your DH, and it is a day you can touch each other, kiss him. My DH always looks for security cameras, but he likes the surprise of me kissing him up against an elevator wall.
