How to replace side view mirror?

The mirror cracked. What kind of store do I go to to have it replaced? Is this something insurance covers?

I'd probably try a car parts store or some crummy corner garage and ask them to kindly bang me a new/used one on. But I'm in Israel, so maybe that's different.

It's not worth an insurance claim, which will raise your premiums by far more than the cost of the mirror. When it happened to me not too long ago, I went to a local mechanic, who ordered a replacement mirror that arrived the next day. It took him less than 5 minutes to "install" it, and it cost me only $50. This was in Brooklyn. A dealer will charge you far more for an "official" mirror - waste of $.

This just happened to me,

I was too close to a garbage can and it knocked the passenger mirror down.

It was $35 -45 from amazon and my husband put it on..
