Should I be concerned? I’m so nervous!! I don’t think he drank a lot maybe like a tablespoon. First minute he was gagging and coughing. Now like 10 minutes later he’s acting all fine and happy but he’s still coughing a little.

No they just ask you what he drank, how much, symptoms etc
Have the bottle on hand in case they ask you for ingredients

I went to the emergency room for this with a child a but older.
Poison control told me to go.
Better safe than sorry.
They monitored us for a few hours and went us home.
This is no laughing matter.

No. They ask what happened and then just tell you if you should go to the ER or dr or just wait and see if he’s ok.

Never hesitate to call poison control! Your child’s life is at risk, that is more important than anything else. Poison control does not report anything to CPS anyways.

Not sure I understand this question... Are you not ok with them asking personal info? They most likely wouldn't, just wondering why it should bother you if it's for the safety of your child. If it ever comes up that you have to give personally info for a medical reason, please do.

I read so many stories lately of cps so scared about it.
Also bh he’s ok. He stopped coughing he’s acting perfect and I was thinking about it that he never drinks more than a drop at a time so can’t imagine he had more than a lick from something with a horrible taste. When googling what to do if child licks diffuser it says if child is acting ok wiping mouth and rinsing with water is good enough

It can’t hurt to call poison control. They don’t report anything.

Op,nyou should be calling poison control.

I have called. The ask you questions ant child size, amount consumed, symptoms, etc.

I would not be deciding on my own if he's okay or not.
Your care for your child should come way before your fear of CPS.

I've taken children to the ER with various injuries. CPS wa BH never called.

I've called poison control a few times already.
Years ago my kid drank a galf a bottle of motrin. She climbed up at 13 months old and opened the child proof cap....
Another time my kid drank a drop of windex (that's why I don't keep stronger chemicals in the house. They always manage to find everything lately I started buying and washing whites with bleach but I keep my laundry room locked anyway... and I still am very vigilant) third time I suspected my kid swallowed a button battery.
Bh they were all OK. (The button battery got us a trip to the er on shabbos. Bh there was no battery.
I always call. I really hope they don't keep a log of my calls. Luckily I lived in 3 different placed w different phone numbers. Lol.
But if they do there's nothing I can do about it. My child's safely comes first.
