I bought a lacetop and regret it for various reasons. Can it be converted into a regular top wig?

yeah but it's not worth it because ur gunna have to pay like $500 and at that point you should just get a skin top. best bet is sell the lace for like 1k (depending on brand and current wuality) and then buy a skin top for like $1700

You can have a liner added easily

Not sure if that helps

No answers but that must be disappointing. $5000 is a lot of money- I’m sorry this didn’t work out for you

Yes it can be done. Where are you located I know someone in Monsey that does this. Irene’s wigs might also do it, it is called a cap transfer but specify from a lace top to skin top

Would love more info please.
Wouldn't any wig company do it?
Is it expensive?

OP can you please explain why you regret it?
I want to buy one but I’m not sure if I’ll end up regretting it.
Was it for tzniyut reasons?
Was it because it’s too delicate and not practical?
Is it a physical comfort thing?
Is it because you feel too self conscious because it’s too real, too good looking?
Please explain the reason

All of the above!

I just purchased it..it's not even cut yet! I'm just second guessing it. Haven't thought of the above at the time of purchase.

Have you asked the person you bought it from? Is it a sheitel macher?
She should be able to help you.
And maybe even do an exchange (at a small loss) if it's really new and hasn't had any work done.

Any wig company that offers outside repairs might do it, most companies do not offer that. As far as I know only Irene’s and miris take repairs
It’s a good few hundred dollars I don’t know exact price

You mentioned you know someone in Monsey who does it. Would you mind sharing her contact info? Is she professional?

Would anyone know who she's referring to?

Would anyone know what my options are to conceal the hairline in any which way so it doesn't look as natural as a lacetop usually looks?

I don’t have her contact info for maybe someone else here does
I know she does repairs for a lot of shaitel machers so I would assume she’s professional
