If you tried this form of "therapy" I would love to hear more about it. If you dont mind sharing what was the issue/why did you do it? Did you see progress. All info appreciated.

I'm an ot and I incorporate this into my work with kids. For some kids it can have a significant impact, for others less so.

I see the greatest impact when there's a clear link to motor delays.

If your child reflexes aren't integrated, Reflex integration work can be a life changer.

Depending on the reflexes that you need help with, the symptoms and challenges can be different.
It can help in many many areas...

My son was diagnosed with spd and it was a miracle gamechanger for us. He has no sensory issues anymore. It's been 10 years.

There is a link but it's not something I have experience with as an OT.

Right so online I keep seeing its mostly for sensory/ OT issues. Im wondering if it helps more for speech issues.

Can I ask who you used?

Unfortunately the specialist I used passed away a few years ago. I kept in close contact with her and I can tell you that she saw successes in children with many different disorders and health issues from down syndrome to autism to multiple sclerosis to adhd and every symptom out there. She taught me many of the exercises used for different disorders, and speech issues were definitely on the list.
