I am looking into an apartment and the only thing that I am hesitant about is the yellow stains in the toilet and bathtub.

Are they removable?

I wish I can tag ramom.

Pumice stones. They are like magic erasers for toilets.

It's a lot of scrubbing but they really work!

We reglazed out tub and tiles.
You can also refinish a toilet bowl

CLR cleaner might be able to remove it. Pumice for the rest.

It depends if it's made in ceramic or plastic(I forgot exact name)
Ceramic does very well with bleach.
Plastic get yellowed from bleach. It gets clean with paste of baking soda and hydrogen peroxide.

Toilets for sure aren't made of plastic. Bleach is bad for tub finish.

Can you ask them if you can do another walk through to see if the stains are removable? Be forthright. There are products you can use like Bar Keepers Friend soft cleanser and a Scotch Brite pad.

Ok thanks so much. I'll try it.
They didn't want to do anything about it.
