Any way to defrost steak faster?

I took a few rib steaks out of the freezer at 3 pm and would love to cook them at 6. Is there anything to do to make them defrost more quickly?

Leave it in the packaging and put it in cold water

Put it is a freezer ziplock and put in a bowl of cold water
