With the cost of therapy being so high, do you think there is value in seeing a therapist at Chemed or another clinic that takes insurance?
Has anyone gotten therapy at Chemed and has been helped or has any feedback
Thanks

Yes. Many therapists at Chemed also have private practices so you are essentially getting the same service for cheaper.

Thanks for replies. I went to Chemed for an intake at their new location, it’s beautiful and so professional

I saw a top therapist at Chemed. My issue was that sessions were capped at 35 minutes. That's not really long enough if you're there for trauma, as I was.

Does anyone know the version of this in Boro Park? What if my insurance doesn’t cover therapy at all?
Hatzlacha to the posters here, sounds great.

My child was not helped at chemed. It was basically someone who played games with him each week. Switched to a different therapist and it was the same thing.

Whoever was very happy in chemed and lcsc can you please share who was your therapist and what was your primary diagnostic.
You're all anonymous anyways and it really could help some of us!!!

The therapists I’ve used at lcsc & Chemed have all been at least good (some very good, some excellent). Unfortunately the best ones I’ve used (for myself & my kids) have left Chemed (so recommendations would be useless). The ones we are currently using seem good but we haven’t been using them long enough to say for sure.

A long time ago I used Chasya (Rachel) Berger at CHEMED. I then followed her to private practice until I stopped therapy. She is amazing. Find out if she’s still at CHEMED.
