Mains in sauce freeze well- roasts, sweet and sour chicken, etc. Shnitzel and meats without sauce like steak don't do as well
Potato kugel, mashed potatoes, any soup do well in the freezer

Potato kugel (I know this is controversial but it works for me)
Raw, breaded shnitzel
Soups
Kneidlach
Saucy, or low and slow kinds of roasts or meats

Just made this today and it came out delicious, next time I will triple it and freeze (had to try it out first). Thank you so much for your help!
